PolyTechG PKM3 na 68. Međunarodnom sajmu tehnike

At the 68th International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements, held from 19–22 May in Belgrade, the expert jury of the Belgrade Fair awarded the Grand Prize “STEP INTO THE FUTURE” to the consortium: Lola Institute, the Academy of Applied Studies Polytechnic from Belgrade, and GATECH DOO from Belgrade, for the exhibit PolyTechG PKM3, a CNC machine with parallel kinematics (https://sajamtehnike.rs/najbolji-medju-najboljima-dodeljene-nagrade-na-sajmu-tehnike-u-beogradu/).

PolyTechG PKM3 is a purpose-built new product made for the Academy of Applied Studies Polytechnic from Belgrade, and will be used as a teaching aid at the Požarevac Department. The machine construction and kinematic modelling were carried out by researchers from Lola Institute and the Academy of Applied Studies Polytechnic from Belgrade. The complete control unit was developed at Lola Institute. The machine was manufactured and assembled by the company GATECH DOO from Belgrade. The machine is the product of successful cooperation between science, education, and industry.

The exhibit PolyTechG PKM3, a CNC machine with parallel kinematics, was presented at the exhibition stand of the Government of the Republic of Serbia in Hall 2C, as part of the exhibits of scientific research organizations under the title “Play for Humanity! We had the great honor of having the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr. Đuro Macut, and the Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, Academician Bela Balint, together with their associates, visit the Lola Institute stand (https://www.srbija.gov.rs/vest/973736/ulaganje-u-nauku-i-inovacije-kljucno-za-dalji-razvoj-srbije.php).

During the course of the fair, the Lola Institute stand had a large number of visitors and significant interest from visitors regarding commercial cooperation.
